Regular Services & Activities

 

  • Sacrament Meeting - Our principle religious meeting of the week where we partake of the sacrament of the Lord's supper in remembrance of his sacrifice for us! We then hear talks prepared by members of the congregation or the Bishopric. 
    •  Held @ 10am, Sundays, downstairs in the basement level (use the stairs or elevator by the southwest entrance). 
    • Taylorsville Institute of Religion - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4554 South 2025 West, Taylorsville, UT 84129 (Apple Maps doesn't like the address, make sure its taking you to Salt Lake Community College's Redwood Campus)
  • Family Home Evening (FHE) - A weekly gathering of the young single adults in our ward to have fun and wholesome activity together.
    • Held @ 7pm, Mondays
    • Church Building, 6250 S 2200 W, Taylorsville, UT 84129 
  • Ward Choir Practice: Most Sundays @ 12:45 (after mingles)
    • Sports:
      • Women's Basketball (Open Gym: ? Nights @ Granger Building, contact Samuel for details)

      • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
      • Arrive at 9:45pm
      • Must be Endowed
      • Come in Sunday dress, but you will change into white jumpsuits that they give you
      • Sign up with Hunter Ostergaard. 
    • MAY 2 - Stake Temple Night
      • 6-10pm
      • Jordan River Utah Temple
      • Refreshments afterward
    • MAY 15 - Closing Social for Institute
      • Combined Social with the Institutes of Taylorsville, Jordan, and Herriman.
      • 7pm - 11pm

    • MAY 16 - Elder's Quorum Activity: Shoot Out
      • 10am, Meet at FHE Church Building for carpool
      • Bring your own eye gear
      • Scott is looking for anyone willing to bring their guns
    • MAY 17 - Devotional w/ Elder Cziesla
